Unlike conventional plastic bottles that persist in the environment for years, our bamboo refill is biodegradable. This means that 9 months after it has been filled with body wash, the refill will start to break down naturally and begin its composting journey. As a result our refills have "use by dates" 6 months from their filling date - this date will be clearly printed on the refill neck. A refill should last you about 1 month (depending on the number of users and how much you use) so even if you get our trio pack you have plenty of time to use all three refills before their use by dates!
After lots of testing, we expect the body wash to last 4-6 weeks with a couple of pumps each time you shower.
