There have been 2 versions of the case.
Case 1.0 (left) has 3 parts (base, top, and pump) and is slightly squarer on the shoulder.
Case 2.0 (right) has 2 parts (base and a connected top/pump section) and is slight rounder on the shoulder.

The cases themselves, empty, are absolutely fine to fly with however if they contain a Wild refill (300 ml), this will be over the 100 ml limit for hand luggage on some airlines. If you put it in your hold, we recommend twisting the lock back down into the locked position (and no harm ever came from wrapping it up in a spare cover or bag to be extra safe!)
