Our hand wash uses mild surfactants; their main function is to cleanse the skin from dirt and oils. When surfactants are added to water, foam is created which helps the distribution of product ensuring a larger surface area of cleanliness.
This product has not been designed to specifically kill viruses or bacteria - they are not appropriate for hospital use, for example!
