We get it, kids grow up quickly, and sometimes a bit of body odour comes along for the ride!
It’s a really common question: When can my kids use Wild? And we’re so glad you asked
If you'd like to see exactly what goes into each refill, you can check out our full list of ingredients right here
Let’s walk through what we can and can’t recommend for each product range:
Stick Deodorant
Wild is made with naturally derived ingredients and doesn’t contain aluminium or parabens. We’ve also developed a sensitive range, which skips out bicarbonate of soda, a common cause of irritation for some people with delicate skin.
While our products have passed cosmetic safety assessments for general use, we haven’t carried out dedicated testing on children. This means we can’t make any specific claims about age suitability, and we don’t recommend using Wild on children unless it’s been discussed with a healthcare professional.
Roll On Antiperspirant
This should be find for all skin types, including younger skins when body odour joins the absolutely wild time that is ✨Puberty✨.
As with all cosmetic items however, we recommend patch testing the product before launching into full use (the inside of the elbow is a good spot!)
Roll On Deodorant
Yes, it is! Our roll on is a great option for teens, pre-teens, and even younger children who are ready to start using deodorant.
Our formula is made with 95% natural ingredients, it’s free from aluminium salts, parabens, sulphates and SLS, and it’s been carefully designed to be gentle on delicate skin, so you can feel confident using it on growing bodies.
If your child has very sensitive or allergy-prone skin, we’d recommend a quick patch test first, just to be safe.
Please note this range has been discontinued in the UK, EU and AUS.
Lip Balm
This product is not advised for under 12s.
Body Wash
While our body care products have passed cosmetic safety assessments for general use, we haven’t carried out dedicated testing on children for the body wash. This means we can’t make any specific claims about age suitability.
Hand Wash
The hand wash has undergone a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) and is deemed safe for use by individuals aged 12 and older. For younger children, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before use.
Soap Bars
Our bars are formulated with safety in mind. The Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) for our products has been issued for use by individuals aged 12 and older. This means that the soap has been assessed and is considered safe for those in this age group.👨👩👧👦
For children under 12, we recommend consulting with a paediatrician or healthcare professional before using the product, especially if your child has sensitive skin or specific skin conditions.
If you’re considering Wild for your child, we strongly suggest checking in with your GP or pharmacist first. They'll be able to offer the best guidance based on your child's skin, age, and personal needs.
We’re all for supporting healthy hygiene habits early on, and we’re here to help however we can, just with that little extra bit of care when it comes to younger users 💚
